OpenAI has introduced Codex, a new coding agent available to ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, and Team subscribers, aiming to function as a “virtual coworker” for engineers. Integrated into ChatGPT, Codex generates code from natural language, can independently fix bugs and suggest changes, and is currently free to use, with plans to charge in the future.
