South Africa crime statistics debunk ‘white genocide’ claims

South Africa’s police minister, Senzo Mchunu, refuted claims of a genocide against white people following comments made by US President Donald Trump during a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa. Mchunu revealed that between January and March, five of the six farm murder victims were black, and he emphasized that the narrative around farm murders has been distorted. He also dismissed Trump’s allegations of land expropriation, noting that while a controversial law allowing government land seizure exists, no land has been taken under it yet, amid ongoing calls for land reform in the country.
