Oscar-nominated West Bank feature director says films 'can be part of change'

Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham, a Palestinian and an Israeli, document the destruction of homes by the Israeli army in the West Bank in their Oscar-nominated film “No Other Land”. The documentary follows their fight for justice in Masafer Yatta, a community facing demolition and expulsion. Despite the film’s success, the filmmakers acknowledge the limitations of movies in effecting real change but believe they can inspire individuals and contribute to a larger movement for justice and peace in the region.
