After the Boston Celtics’ 100-95 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, star Jaylen Brown expressed his frustration with the officiating in a heated postgame interview, criticizing the inconsistency of calls against good teams. He specifically called out referee Curtis Blair and urged viewers to review game footage to understand his anger, noting the Spurs had 20 free throw attempts compared to Boston’s four. Brown’s comments included profanity, suggesting he may face a fine similar to other players in the league. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about officiating in critical games.
