Nova Festival Survivor Found Dead Two Years After Attack

Roei Shalev, a survivor of the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack at the Nova musical festival, was found dead near Tel Aviv, just days after expressing his emotional pain on social media. He had previously witnessed his girlfriend’s murder during the attack and had survived by playing dead, while his mother had taken her life shortly after the incident; Israeli police are investigating the circumstances of his death.
