A 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker drove a car into a crowd in Munich, injuring at least 28 people during a strike by public sector workers. The suspect, known to police for theft and drug offences, was arrested at the scene. German authorities are investigating the incident as a suspected attack and are working to clarify all details, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz stating the perpetrator must be punished and leave the country.
