Southampton announces death of former academy player Victor Udoh

Former Southampton FC and Royal Antwerp academy player Victor Udoh has passed away at the age of 21. Udoh was with Southampton’s academy for six months, where he played eight matches for the under-21 team in Premier League 2. Prior to joining Southampton, he developed in Antwerp’s academy and made 28 appearances for their first team. After leaving Southampton in September, the Nigerian left-winger signed with Czech second-tier club Ceske Budejovice. Both Southampton and Royal Antwerp expressed their condolences, extending thoughts and support to Udoh’s family and friends during this challenging time.
