Russia won't accept Nato troops in Ukraine, Lavrov says after talks with US

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that Russia will not accept Nato troops in Ukraine as part of any peace deal, following talks with the US in Saudi Arabia. The US and Russia have agreed to start negotiations to end the war, with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio calling it an important first step. Ukraine was not invited to the talks, causing President Zelensky to express surprise and concern about decisions being made without their input.
