Fire crews respond to smoke reports in ferry engine room

Fire crews responded to a fire at Auckland’s downtown ferry terminal around 8:06 PM, where smoke was detected in the engine room of a ferry. Four fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, and upon arrival, the ferry was docked with all passengers accounted for. No injuries have been reported related to the incident.
