Canadian trucker nabbed with $16.5M cocaine load at border: Cops

Canadian truck driver Sukjindr Singh, 29, from Peel Region, was caught with over 370 lbs. of cocaine worth $16.5 million at the Canadian-U.S. border in Port Huron. This arrest marks the largest drug bust in the history of the Drug Task Force in St. Clair County. Singh faces charges of delivering a controlled substance and could receive a life sentence in an American prison along with a fine of up to $1 million.
