Canada surpasses $1.5 billion in private land conservation investments

Federal environment minister Steven Guilbeault announced that the Canadian government, along with conservation organizations, has met a $1.5 billion investment goal to conserve 840,000 hectares of private lands ahead of the UN global biodiversity conference in Colombia.
