Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Northwest Calgary
Water Usage Remains High

The boil water advisory for Parkdale, Montgomery, Point McKay, and West Hillhurst has been lifted after testing confirmed the water quality is safe, following a burst pipe that caused significant flooding and required rescues. Despite the advisory’s removal, city officials are urging residents to continue conserving water due to high consumption levels. One eastbound lane on 16th Avenue N.W. has reopened, although construction continues and westbound lanes remain closed. City crews are actively working on the repair, with the cause of the water main break still unknown.
