To celebrate HX Expeditions’ 130 years of exploration in 2026, the company will offer guests a chance to experience a recreated 1896 expedition cabin aboard the MS Fridtjof Nansen. This immersive cabin features period furnishings, oil lamps, and authentic scents, costing €450 per night, with proceeds supporting the HX Foundation’s conservation efforts. HX Expeditions, a pioneer in sustainable cruising, has a rich history dating back to its first expedition cruise in 1896. The ship is named after famed Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen, who led significant Arctic expeditions.
