Trump ‘surprised’ to see Musk’s criticism
In response to criticism from Elon Musk regarding his administration’s “big, beautiful bill,” President Trump expressed surprise and emphasized his longstanding positive relationship with Musk. He defended the bill as a significant tax cut, suggesting Musk’s discontent stemmed from the removal of the Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate. Trump acknowledged Musk’s upset, noted that such reactions are common among those who leave his administration, and reiterated his belief in the bill’s merits despite Musk labeling it an “abomination.”
