Children in Need raises more than £39m

Children in Need has raised over £39m this year to support disadvantaged young people in the UK, with funds raised by Paddy McGuinness cycling from Wales to Scotland on a children’s Chopper bike. The live televised show featured stars like Graham Norton, Girls Aloud, and Kylie Minogue, with highlights including a Gladiators reunion and a special performance from Strictly Come Dancing. The event also premiered a poignant video of Girls Aloud’s I’ll Stand By You, sung by the late Sarah Harding, and raised awareness for Children in Need’s ongoing charitable efforts.
