More than 70,000 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in Gaza due to Israel’s military campaign, according to Hamas-run health authorities. Despite a ceasefire on 10 October, Israeli airstrikes continue, with recent strikes resulting in the deaths of two young brothers gathering firewood. The Israeli Defense Forces stated they targeted suspects violating a ceasefire agreement. The conflict escalated following a Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7 October, which resulted in approximately 1,200 Israeli deaths.
