Jobs in video games dried up, so we made our own

Holly Hudson, a 2023 graduate of a university video game design course aiming to become a 3D artist, faces a challenging job market marked by layoffs and studio closures, with fewer than 5% of the 700 active vacancies in the UK being junior positions. Despite these obstacles, she and others are finding ways to pursue their passions and showcase their work.
