Sesame Street Partners with Netflix
Sesame Street has entered a deal with Netflix, allowing the beloved children’s show to stream its new 56th season and 90 hours of past episodes, while still airing on PBS. This partnership comes after Warner Bros Discovery declined to renew its contract with the program, which has educated children since 1969. Netflix aims to enhance its children’s content, joining other programming like new episodes of Peppa Pig, as children’s viewing comprises 15% of its audience.
