A former Bargain Hunt art expert, Oghenochuko Ojiri, has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison for failing to disclose art sales to a suspected financier of Hezbollah, a group designated as a terrorist organization by the UK. Ojiri, 53, pleaded guilty to eight counts under the Terrorism Act 2000 for not making necessary disclosures during his business dealings, particularly with Nazem Ahmad, who was sanctioned by US authorities in 2019. Judge Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb emphasized the severity of the offences, stating that only a custodial sentence was appropriate.
