Aberdeen defender Jack MacKenzie was injured after being struck by a seat thrown by a fan during a pitch invasion following Aberdeen’s defeat to Dundee United. MacKenzie, an unused substitute, was on the field when the incident occurred, which followed previous issues with object-throwing by fans. Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin stated that MacKenzie is “ok but it’s quite a bad injury,” emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable and that they need to understand the full circumstances of the incident.
