Summary
Israel has issued a major evacuation order for civilians in Gaza amid escalating military actions, citing areas like the Islamic University and Al-Shifa Hospital as unsafe due to alleged Hamas activities. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert criticized the military campaign, advocating for humanitarian support for Gaza’s population, which faces severe food insecurity and health risks. Despite calls for a ceasefire and public support for negotiations to release hostages, Prime Minister Netanyahu remains committed to continuing the military offensive against Hamas.
