Kenyan Landslide Kills 21 After Rain

The Kenyan government has reported 21 fatalities due to a landslide in Marakwet East caused by heavy rainfall, with over 30 individuals still missing. Interior Minister Kipchumba Murkomen confirmed that 25 injured people were airlifted for medical care, while rescue operations are hindered by mudslides and flooding. The search will resume on Sunday, and relief efforts are being organized. In Uganda, flash flooding has also led to multiple deaths and widespread destruction in nearby areas.
