Former two-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will make his return to the octagon on 28 March against Joe Pyfer in Seattle, after a year-long hiatus following three consecutive defeats. Adesanya, who has seen a decline with only one win in his last five fights, dominated the middleweight division from 2020 to 2022 but now faces questions about his future. Pyfer, ranked 15th, has won six of seven UFC fights, adding pressure on Adesanya. The event at Climate Pledge Arena will also feature a bout between Alexa Grasso and Maycee Barber.
