Rogers Mato Joins Hearts from Vardar

Uganda forward Rogers Mato has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Scottish Premiership leaders Heart of Midlothian this summer from North Macedonian top-flight leaders Vardar. The 22-year-old has excelled at Vardar this season, netting 15 goals and providing two assists in 17 matches. Mato’s three-year contract with Hearts will begin in July, following the end of his current deal. He has also represented Uganda internationally, scoring eight goals in 41 appearances.
