Marco Rubio urges global action to limit RSF weapon supplies
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has urged international action to halt arms supplies to Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) amid reports of mass atrocities in el-Fasher, including murder and sexual violence. Following a G7 foreign ministers meeting, he condemned the RSF for systematic attacks against civilians and called for an end to their actions. Rubio emphasized the need for countries supplying weapons to cease support, as the RSF relies on outside assistance. The conflict has escalated into a humanitarian crisis, with the RSF gaining control of all major cities in the Darfur region.
