Tens of thousands mourn Raila Odinga in Kisumu
Tens of thousands gathered in Kisumu to pay respects to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who passed away at 80. The state funeral, held in Nairobi, preceded his lying in state at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium, where mourners expressed grief and admiration for his contributions to Kenya’s democracy; he is set to be buried privately in Bondo.
