Woman arrested over Christmas Day village murder

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 30s died at a house in Norton Canes on Christmas Day. Staffordshire Police responded to a report of the man in cardiac arrest at around 03:25 GMT, with the woman from Cannock currently in custody. A post-mortem examination is scheduled, and a crime scene is expected to remain at the address for several days as officers gather evidence and provide reassurance to the local community.
