Blair and Rubio Appointed to Gaza Peace Board

The Trump administration has established a “Board of Peace” for Gaza, with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair among its founding members, alongside Jared Kushner and others. Trump will chair the board, aimed at overseeing Gaza’s governance and reconstruction as part of a broader peace initiative. A separate National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) will manage day-to-day operations, with Nickolay Mladenov representing the board on the ground. The initiative follows a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel and aims to stabilize the region and support Palestinian governance efforts.
