A crash in Ponan-Ouinlo, Ivory Coast involving a freight truck and a passenger bus resulted in the death of 15 people and injuries to 23 others. The National Office for Civil Protection reported that the bus, carrying 70 passengers, had its roof completely caved in. Crashes are frequent in Ivory Coast due to poor road conditions and reckless driving, with over 1,000 fatalities annually.
