A passenger bus in Cambodia crashed off a bridge into a river, resulting in at least 13 fatalities and numerous injuries among the approximately 40 passengers aboard. The bus was en route from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh when the incident occurred in Kampong Thom province during the early morning hours. Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver may have been drowsy after a nighttime departure. Rescuers are continuing to search for additional victims, while the deceased will be held at a local hospital for their families.
