Bungie has officially announced that its delayed extraction shooter, Marathon, will launch on March 5th, priced at $39.99 for Xbox Series S/X, PS5, and PC. Initially set for a September release, the game was postponed due to feedback from alpha tests and subsequent playtests introduced new features like proximity chat. Set in a sci-fi universe in 2850, players act as Runners scavenging with teams against both NPCs and other players. The delay means Marathon will release after ARC Raiders, which has been a top game on Steam since its October launch.
