Organizations like Best Friends Animal Society and Wings of Rescue are working to rescue and relocate animals affected by the fires. To improve infrastructure for humans, animals, and the environment, cities can implement solutions like bird-friendly building materials, wildlife crossings, green infrastructure, naturalized lawns, and establishing animal welfare offices, as seen in New York, to create co-beneficial policies that address climate change risks and animal welfare concerns.
