A self-described “super geek,” Ha Dang, 33, from Scunthorpe, is set to compete against 64 contestants in the Microsoft Excel World Championship in Las Vegas after winning the British title with a project on British monarchs. Originally from Vietnam, he taught himself Excel through YouTube and aims for the $5,000 prize and the world title, despite acknowledging the competition will be tough.
