A British family attempted to board an easyJet flight from Spain to Gatwick with their deceased 89-year-old grandmother, claiming she was merely asleep. Witnesses reported that the flight was delayed nearly 12 hours after cabin crew discovered she had died just before take-off. EasyJet stated the woman had a “fit to fly” certificate and was alive when boarding, while passengers expressed outrage over the situation on social media.
