Brazil court prohibits Bolsonaro’s son from visiting ex-president for 90 days

Brazil’s Supreme Court has imposed a 90-day ban on Flavio Bolsonaro from visiting his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, after the two were found to have violated the terms of the latter’s house arrest through a social media livestream. Justice Alexandre de Moraes issued the order following Flavio’s reading of a letter from Jair, who is serving a sentence for plotting to overturn the 2022 election results. The ruling prevents Flavio from seeing his father during a crucial period of his presidential campaign against incumbent Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
