Boy, 7, drives his little sister on a mission to McDonald’s in his mom’s SUV

A seven-year-old boy in Ogden, Utah, took his mother’s SUV on a quest to McDonald’s with his five-year-old sister inside, driving nine miles from home before crashing. Police pursued him but halted the chase due to his age and public safety concerns, finding the children uninjured at the scene. The boy’s mother, Whitney Bush, expressed shock and concern, noting that while her son had behavioral issues, she was not proud of his actions, and although he would not face charges, she planned to have him do community service.
