A five-year-old boy suffered severe facial injuries, including damage to his eye, ears, and cheeks, after being attacked by an off-lead dog in a Doncaster park while with his mother. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released on bail. In a separate incident, an XL Bully dog killed a nine-month-old baby in South Wales, leading to two arrests. The rising trend of dog attacks has prompted calls for responsible pet ownership to prevent such tragedies.
