Bottom trawling | what to know about this marine ecosystem threat

Bottom trawling is a fishing method that involves dragging a heavy net along the seafloor, causing extensive damage to marine habitats and species. This destructive practice leads to the destruction of coral reefs, seagrass beds, and other essential ecosystems. Conservation efforts are crucial in order to protect the delicate balance of our oceans and prevent further harm from bottom trawling.
