 A New York City man, Clive Porter, 33, with over 50 prior arrests, faces new charges for allegedly committing five anti-Asian attacks, including sucker punching a 45-year-old victim onto subway tracks. The attacks began with Porter striking a 72-year-old man and continued with further assaults on others, including pickpocketing. He is charged with assault as a hate crime, reckless endangerment, and harassment. Porter has a lengthy criminal history, including 61 felonies and 24 misdemeanors, and was recently granted supervised release despite previous violent offenses.
