Blast at Turkish armament factory kills at least 11 people

A blast in Balikesir province, as reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency, occurred at a factory located in a rural area away from populated areas. Balikesir Governor Ismail Ustaoglu stated that the explosion caused the collapse of the capsule production building, with minor damage to surrounding structures, and was due to a technical issue, ruling out sabotage. Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc announced on social media that public prosecutors have been tasked with investigating the cause of the blast.
