The Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command has announced the successful completion of the 20th airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid under the “Birds of Goodness” operation.

Participating in the airdrop were two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and a C130 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force.

82 tonnes of food and relief aid were dropped over inaccessible isolated areas in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total aid airdropped to 989 tonnes since the operation began.

The Birds of Goodness operation is a part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” aimed at providing support to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
