SINGAPORE: Bill Gates’ non-profit organisation, the Gates Foundation, will open an office in Singapore to partner with the philanthropic community and engage with local research. Supported by the Economic Development Board, the foundation aims to leverage Singapore’s strategic location and research ecosystem to advance healthcare, fintech, and AI innovations. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong expressed optimism about collaboration with the foundation to tackle global challenges in health and innovation.
