Narayan Kumar Subedi learned that his son Ashish, a Bhutanese refugee resettled in the US, was deported amid a domestic dispute and caught in a complex legal limbo, as he is neither welcomed in Bhutan nor recognized in Nepal. The situation echoes past refugee crises, prompting calls for urgent diplomatic action to resolve the plight of these stateless individuals.
