Math teacher found dead in elementary school classroom

A 75-year-old math teacher, Deborah Tolson, was found dead inside Arundel Elementary School in Baltimore over the weekend. Tolson, who had been a beloved member of the school community for seven years, taught in the Baltimore City Public Schools for 23 years. Police reported no signs of trauma or foul play and are investigating the cause of death, which will be determined by the state Medical Examiner’s Office. The school district is providing support for grieving students and staff.
