Bekemeier scores 16, Douglas records double-double in Missouri State’s tournament win

Kaemyn Bekemeier scored 16 points and Lainie Douglas contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds as Missouri State defeated Louisiana Tech 43-38 in the Conference USA Tournament championship. Despite a nine-minute scoring drought in the fourth quarter, Missouri State held Louisiana Tech to just 12 second-half points. The victory marks the Bears’ 18th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
