Beetaloo Energy’s Carpentaria-5H well in the Beetaloo Basin has demonstrated impressive gas flow rates, peaking at 11.2 terajoules per day and averaging 7.1 TJ/day during its testing phase. The company is focusing on long-term productivity by employing a careful approach to well management, which has resulted in the development of a stronger fracture network. With all approvals secured for the Carpentaria Pilot project, gas sales are expected to begin in late 2026, leveraging the well alongside previous successful wells. An extended flow test for Carpentaria-5H is planned for early 2026, indicating strong potential for increased gas deliverability.
