‘Beef’ Star Ali Wong Steals the Spotlight in Bold Couture at 2024 SAG Awards
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

There was no missing Ali Wong at the 2024 SAG Awards.

The Beef star — who has swept awards season so far with Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award wins — arrived in bold fashion on the red carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday. The actress and comedian undoubtedly had all eyes on her as she posed for the cameras in what could be considered wearable art. Wong opted for a black-and-white printed architectural gown by Iris van Herpen featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves adorned with hanging patterned ornaments. The unmissable look was part of van Herpen’s fall-winter 2023 couture collection.

At the annual awards show, Wong is once again being recognized for her performance in the hit Netflix series as Amy Lau with her first SAG Award nomination, this time for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. She is up against Painkiller‘s Uzo Aruba, Tiny Beautiful Things‘s Kathryn Hahn, Lessons in Chemistry‘s Brie Larson, and A Small Light‘s Bel Powley.

Along with Wong’s nomination, her co-star, Steven Yeun, is also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie. The series itself is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.

Who will go home a winner? Fans will just have to stay tuned! In the meantime, check out more of the SAG Award red carpet arrivals in ET’s gallery below.
