Beef + Lamb NZ director voted out

Beef + Lamb NZ farmer director Scott Gower has been voted out by farmers, with Rangitikei hill country farmer Andrew Stewart winning by a margin of 731 weighted votes. Stewart will join the B+LNZ board at the annual meeting in Rotorua next week, as chair Kate Acland praised Gower for his contributions and encouraged farmer participation in the voting process. Gower will be formally farewelled after the meeting, with Acland thanking him for his service and highlighting his role in strategy development and CEO appointment.
