Foursquare Co-Founder Launches AI-Powered Social App BeeBot

Dennis Crowley, co-founder of Foursquare, has launched BeeBot, an AI-driven social app for iPhones that provides location-based audio updates. Designed to act like a “personalized radio DJ,” BeeBot offers tailored updates about friends, local news, and events as users walk around. The app, compatible with various audio devices, aims to deliver brief, gossip-like updates a few times daily without being disruptive. Currently in beta, it is available for iOS users in walkable U.S. cities, with a CarPlay version in development.
