Baron Zemo, the villain from Captain America: Civil War, is reportedly returning in the animated series Marvel Zombies, though it’s unclear if Daniel Brühl will reprise the role. The series will build on the fan-favorite episode from What If…? Season 1 and follow a new storyline featuring a mostly Phase 4 character roster, picking up from a cliffhanger involving zombified Thanos. Set to premiere on October 3, 2025, the four-episode series includes a star-studded voice cast and is directed by Bryan Andrews, with a synopsis hinting at Halloween-themed carnage.
